Positioning

Why Do Customers Pick Someone Else?

You did good work. You gave a fair price. They still picked someone else. That stings.

Most of the time, it's not your work. It's your words. The buyer could not tell why you were different. So they picked the cheaper one.

What positioning means

Positioning is one clear line. It says who you help. It says why you. That's it.

Not this: "We do marketing for everyone." Try this: "We help plumbers get calls from homeowners." One is easy to forget. One sticks.

Try this today

  1. Write who you help in five words or less.
  2. Write the one problem you fix best.
  3. Put both at the top of your site and your bio. Say it the same way everywhere.

When people can repeat your line, they can pick you. They can tell a friend, too. That's the goal.
